Breaking news!!! The Orioles have drafted 2 time Dick Howser
Trophy Winner Mark Nikakis out of Clemson University! This kid can play. He had
33 homers last year, and led the NCAB with a .459 batting average. He stole 29
bases, had 73 RBIs. Mark plays second base and outfield, but he’ll be playing
sack 2 for the O’s since we’re so desperate for one. “It’s so exciting to be
drafted by the Orioles,” Nikakis said on the draft. “It’s just going to be so
great to play with J.J [Hardy] at second. One of my favorite players. And it’s
cool to play in the same division as my favorite team as a kid (The Tampa Bay
Rays.).”

This is going to be a great season with Mark Nikakis on the
Orioles. We’re going to win the World Series this year. And while we are on
the subject of championships, Nikakis
led Clemson to three NCAB championships. One in 2008, one in 2010, and one in
