Winter Meetings

The MLB Winter Meetings start today and go to the 6th of December. The Winter Meetings are when all the general managers of the MLB come together and start talking about trades and drafts. You can trade one guy from a team to another. You draft free agents and college players out or in college. And you have the top two. The hottest free agent and the hottest college player. The hottest free agent: B.J Upton. B.J was released by the Tampa Bay Rays in November. He played center for the Rays. He hit 28 homers, stole 31 bases, 78 RBIs, and a .246 average. The hottest college player: Mark Nikakis. Nikakis is attending Clemson University, he had 33 homers, he led the NCAB with a .459 average. I'll update you!

Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

It seems every player who's been on their team forever is leaving! First it happens with Kevin Youkillis, (after 7 years with the Boston Red Sox, Youkillis goes from Red Sox to White Sox, in Chicago) Jose Reyes, (after 9 years with the New York Mets, Reyes goes from Mets to Marlins, in Miami) Prince Fielder, (after 7 years with the Milwaukee Brewers, Fielder goes from Brewers to Tigers in Detroit) Albert Pujols, (after 11 years with the St. Louis Cardinals, Pujols goes from Cardinals to Angels in Anaheim, CA) C.J. Wilson, (after 7 years with the Texas Rangers, Wilson goes from Rangers to Angels in Anaheim, CA) Jonathan Papelbon. (after 7 years with the Boston Red Sox, Papelbon goes from Red Sox to Phillies in Philadelphia) And this is the one that has surprised the Baseball World. ICHIRO SUZUKI IS NOW A NEW YORK YANKEE, AND JOINS ALL THOSE OTHER JERKS UP THERE!!!! After 11 years with the Seattle Mariners, Ichiro goes from the Mariners to the Yankees! RRRRRRR!! REALLY?!?
